Katharine (Katie / Kate) Eastman (Harms) Sisson, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the age of 38. Katie was born on May 17, 1985, in Holdrege, the oldest of four children to Greg and Julie (Teter) Harms.

Lloydelle Bellamy, age 85, of Elwood, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Lexington Regional Hospital, Lexington, Nebraska. She was born on April 29th, 1938, at Farnam, Nebraska.

Russell L. Wolf of Eustis passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney at the age of 88. Russell was born December 27, 1934 near Eustis, Nebraska to Gottlieb and Viola (Hueftle) Wolf. He graduated from Eustis High School and worked as a painter in the Eustis area. In 1956, he married Carol Boyer at the Christian Church in Cozad. They were blessed with 2 children, Michael and Shelly. Russell and Carol moved to Colorado where he started his own business painting and remodeling. Russell enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in nature. He was a past Exalted Ruler at Arvada Elks Lodge #2278, a CAP member and went on many search and rescue missions. Russell spent 8 weeks in Japan to build a school onto a chapel and spent 3 weeks visiting small villages in Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Roger.

Charles Kenneth “Chuck” Brown, 91, left this earth to meet his Savior on November 28, 2023, at Medicalodges of Great Bend, Great Bend, KS. Chuck was born March 8, 1932, in Beaver City, NE, to Harry and Estelline (Christensen) Brown. He married Charlene Rae Rowlands on June 9, 1957, in Rifle, CO.

Robert “Bob” Allen Holliday Sr. was born in Lamar, Colorado on September 5, 1941, to William “Bill” Perry and Jessie Lois (Murphy) Holliday. Bob passed away in Cambridge on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

Gladys May Cole, age 89, formerly of Curtis, Neb., passed away at Great Plains Health in North Platte on Sunday, November 26, 2023. She was born in Holdrege, Neb., on April 20, 1934, to Earl and Tillie (Nelson) Hanson.

Charlotte Ann Schroeder Farr was born on December 27, 1932, in Oxford, Nebraska, to William and Katie Schroeder, the youngest girl of six children. A seventh child, Dale, came to be part of their family when he was a baby. She was baptized as an infant and confirmed on April 14, 1946, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School with the Class of 1950. After graduation, she worked as a telephone operator.

Carolyn Elizabeth ten Bensel, age 80, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on Saturday evening, November 25, 2023. Carolyn was born April 25, 1943, in Holdrege, Nebraska, to Gilbert and Agnes (Schutz) Leising.
