Charles Harshfield of Minden, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Cozad Community Health Systems. He was 93 years of age.

Jane Ellen Davenport Skrdlant Bolling passed away on August 15, 2023 from a stroke. She was born June 18, 1953 the 2nd child of five born to Juddson & Nettie (Payne) Davenport. James “Jim” Dean Paxton of Beaver City, Nebraska, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at the age of 60. He was born in Cambridge, Neb., on December 23, 1962 to Donald Dean Paxton and Eunice Loreen (Wendland) Paxton, joining his four siblings Janice, Billy, George and Patti.

A Funeral Service for James C. “Jim” Logston was held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Orleans, Nebraska with Reverend Dr. W. Kirwin Stewart, Jr. and Mr. Neil Collins officiating. Interment followed at the Orleans Cemetery, Orleans, Nebraska, with military honors provided by the Orleans American Legion Post #184 and the United States Army National Guard Funeral Honors Team.
