For first time, Eagles and Warriors hit the lanes

At the end of May 2020, the Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) voted to sanction bowling as a high school varsity sport for the 2020-21 school year. A couple of weeks ago, Tornado Alley in Arapahoe hosted the first triangular between Arapahoe, Southern Valley and Ogallala.

Bulls, Roughriders split game at Elwood

The Hi-Line boys basketball team was relentless on offense Saturday as it rode a hot a 41-point first half to a 73-56 victory over Southwest Saturday, its first of the season. Hi-Line started out strong, outscoring Southwest 25-14 in the first quarter.

Bulls, Roughriders split game at Elwood

The Southwest Girls’ Roughriders Basketball team earned its third win of the season at Hi-Line, 48-43, Saturday. The Roughriders are now 3-6 on the season whiel the Bulls fell to 2-6.

Cambridge finishes second, third at South Platte Tournament

BIG SPRINGS - The Cambridge girls basketball team finished runner-up at the South Platte Holiday Tournament last week. The Trojans ended a five-game losing streak with a 48-41 victory over conferencerival Dundy County-Stratton in the first round Wednesday afternoon.

Arapahoe takes fourth at Braithwait Tourney

ARAPAHOE - After a rough couple games against quality competition at the Bob Braithwait Holiday Tournament, the Arapahoe girls basketball team headed up to I80 for a conference matchup at Maxwell Saturday.

Arapahoe boys drop trio of games last week

ARAPAHOE - The Arapahoe boys basketball team experienced some offensive struggles that proved costly in a trio of games last week. The Warriors dropped a pair of games at the Bob Braithwait Holiday Tournament to finish fourth before also falling in a road contest at Maxwell this past weekend.
