Body The Southern Valley boys basketball team continued streak adding two wins this week against Gothenburg and Overton. The Eagles are now 4-1.

Body Arapahoe and Southern Valley competed at the Southern Valley Wrestling Invite on Friday, Dec. 11. Arapahoe finished 11th as a team with 59 points and Southern Valley finished 12th with 26 points. Sutherland won the invite with 167 points.

Body CAMBRIDGE - With a strong second half, the Cambridge boys basketball team rolled late past South Loup for its seacond win of the season. The Trojans trailed the Bobcats 11-10 after a quarter, but controlled the rest of the contest with defense, moving in front 24-23 at the half.

Body Despite shooting fairly well, the Southern Valley girls lost both away games against Gothenburg and Overton this week. The Lady Eagles are now 1-4 for the season.

Body SOUTHERN VALLEY - After a sluggish second quarter, the Cambridge girls basketball team found its advantage inside and pulled away after the break for a 30-34 victory at Southern Valley last Tuesday.

Body SOUTHERN VALLEY It took a minute or two for the action to get going in the annual showdown between Southern Valley and Cambridge boys basketball teams last Tuesday. But once the Eagles got going, they jumped all over the Trojans and were able to coast to a 61-38 victory.
