Body LINCOLN - The seconded- seeded Southwest volleyball team simply picked a bad day to have a rough day.

Body In the fifth, Plainview scored the first four points of the set and the pressure was mounting for the Roughriders to respond. Southwest did just that, surging in front with a 10-4 run to lead 10-8.

Body BARTLEY - After a backand- forth first half left the Southwest football team with a 27-21 lead at the break, the Stuart Broncos outscored the Roughriders, 29-6, in the second half to roll away to a 50-33 win that ended Southwest’s season.

Body BARTLEY - The Maywood- Hayes Center volleyball team grabbed its 15th win in Monday’s subdistrict opener, but saw its season come to a close in the finals against host Southwest on Tuesday.

Body BARTLEY - The Hi-Line volleyball team picked up its sixth win of the season, taking its subdistrict opener in straight-sets over Sandhills Valley Monday before falling in the second round of subdistricts against top-seeded Southwest.

Body SOUTHERN VALLEY The Southern Valley volleyball team needed just seven sets to get its way through two wins and take the Subdistrict D1-10 Title.
