Patricia Lee “Pat” Bosak was born on January 29, 1939, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Henry Joseph and Maxine Elizabeth (Rowden) Calcaterra and passed away on May 5, 2026, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 6 days.

Dennis Wayne Clason, age 79, of Beaver City, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at his home. He was born on May 27, 1946 at the Norton County Hospital, Norton, Kansas.

Nancy L. Laier, dedicated wife, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and “Santa Lady”, passed away at Meadowlark Pointe on April 29th, 2026. Nancy’s journey began on August 25, 1937 on her parents’ Ernst and Helen (Jordan) Kraye ranch southwest of Mullen, NE.

Dwayne A. Sheldon, 62, of Minden, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Kearney County Health Services in Minden. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Craig Funeral Home in Minden with Rev. William Zwick offi ciating. Private family burial will be held at White Hill Cemetery, north of Minden. There will be no visitation or book signing. Memorials in Dwayne’s honor are kindly suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.

Roger Brougham, of Cambridge, passed away on May 2, 2026 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He was 89 years of age.

A funeral service for Don M. Spangrud was held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Oxford, NEwith Pastor Eric Soure and Pastor Duane Duley officiating. Interment followed at the Oxford Cemetery in Oxford with Military Honors provided by the Oxford American Legion Post #219 in conjunction with the United States Army Funeral Honors Team.

Cooper Lynn Wendland, age 21, of Arapahoe, Nebraska, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 19, 2026. He was born on March 7, 2005 to Jamie and April (Linner) Wendland at the Holdrege Phelps Memorial Hospital.

Peggy Klocke, age 67, of North Platte, NE passed away on April 26, 2026. She was born on August 6, 1958 in McCook, NE to Keith and Harriet (Harrison) Klocke.

Patricia Ann Guerrero (Donovan) 74 years old, passed away after a yearlong fight with cancer that she handled with grace and dignity on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at the Beaver City Manor, Beaver City, NE. Daughter of Paul Lucius Donovan and Shirley June Donovan, was born July 15th, 1951, in Leadville, CO where her father Paul worked in the Climax Mine. Pat is the first of five children Jeanette, Jim, Debbie and John. At a very young age she had undergone an experimental heart surgery and recovered exceptionally. Pat was also a caretaker for her younger siblings on the family farm while her parents worked the sugar beet fields in Hudson, CO until the kids were all old enough to help work the fields. She learned to cook meals and bake while overlooking her siblings and preparing meals for her family.

Sutton, NE, resident Gwendalyn Alyce Ochsner, 78, went to be with her savior Sunday, April 12, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family in Sutton, NE. Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Stockham Community Church in Stockham, NE, with Pastor Rick Bartek officiating.
