A Memorial Service for Geraldine “Geri” Amen will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Oxford, Nebraska, with Mr. Neal McInturf officiating. A private inurnment will be held at the Oxford Cemetery.
Herbert Carl Besler, 82, passed away at UNMC in Omaha on May 18, 2026. Herbert was born January 31, 1944 in Lemmon, SD to Samuel Besler and Magdalena (Rosin) Besler, the third youngest of 15 children.

Larry Arlyn Lambert, 72, of Grand Island, Nebraska, went to his heavenly home on May 18, 2026, after courageously battling complications from liver disease and, in the end, cancer. He was born on September 12, 1953, in McCook, Nebraska, to Dorothy and Arlyn Lambert.
Wren Leo Trosper, age 94, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Central Nebraska Veterans Home, in Kearney, Nebraska. He was born on May 26, 1931 to Orva Benjamin and Josephine Florence (Heitmann) Trosper at the family home 4 miles south and 3.4 miles west of Cambridge, Nebraska.
Carol J. Christensen, 78, of Axtell, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Minden Cemetery with PMA Julie Schmidt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol’s honor are kindly suggested to the Axtell Volunteer Fire Department or the American Red Cross in Kearney. Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden.
Roger Donald Brougham was born on July 8, 1936, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to James and Ruth (Johnson) Brougham. In 1958, he began a distinguished 22-year career in the United States Marine Corps. During his service, Roger earned his GED in 1962 through the United States Armed Forces Institute in Mondovi, Wisconsin.
