LaDonna Sundquist, 71, of Curtis, passed away in Lincoln on April 13, 2024. She was born on October 26, 1952, in Grand Island, Nebraska to Nelson and Mary Lou (Florom) Vreeland. LaDonna married her husband Jerry, of 54 years in 1968. To this union, three children were born, Michelle, Michael, and Jeremy. LaDonna was a proud community member, crafter and traveler. She enjoyed serving on numerous community boards in Curtis, including the Methodist Church, Star Movie Theater, and Curtis Housing Authority. Jerry and LaDonna spent time traveling, whether it be traveling to craft shows, to see family, or to camp at Johnson Lake.

Wade Grilli, age 53, of Beaver City, Nebraska, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Tri Valley Health System in Cambridge, Ne on March 20, 2024. He was born on June 5, 1970 in Boulder, CO to Bill Barbara (Harris) Grilli.

Jo Murner, age 93 of Indianola, passed away at the Community Hospital of McCook on April 2, 2024. She was bon in Mott, North Dakota on September 14, 1930, to Gale and Cora (Oliene) Rounds. She and the family moved to Rapid City, South Dakota where Jo graduated from Rapid City High School.

Randy “James Randall” Karash, 68, of Oxford, Nebraska, passed away on March 20, 2024. He was born on May 4, 1955, in McCook, Nebraska. Randy was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Oxford. He started school at Edison Public School and later attended and graduated from Oxford High School with the class of 1973.

Marilyn Jean Kester, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 18 in Cambridge at 85 years. She was born in McCook on February 10, 1939, to Ralph and Jane (Richey) Beals. The family lived near Stockville until Marilyn was five years old, when they moved to a farm south of Cambridge. She began her education at Sunny Hillside Country School.
