MiHeCha McConnell passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was born on January 10, 1940 in Seoul, South Korea. She married Larry Elvin McConnell in 1970 in Seoul. Larry preceded her in death in January 1972. She is survived by their daughter, Julia Ann, son-in-law Kenneth L. Krenk, and grandson Spencer Reid McConnell Krenk.

Mark E. Heskett of Mc-Cook, NE passed away Friday, December 26 peacefully at home. He was 76 years old. He was born in McCook on July 6, 1949, the eldest child of Melvin & Mary (Jones) Heskett. He grew up in southwest Nebraska and graduated from McCook High School with the class of 1967.

Arlene Newcomb, a longtime resident of Bartley, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Highland Park Retirement Home in Mc-Cook. She was 93 years of age.

Dennis Dee Gardner, age 79, of Arapahoe, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Memorial Community Care, in Aurora, Nebraska. He was born on December 30, 1945, in Arapahoe, Nebraska to Vernon and Marjorie (Stagemeyer) Gardner. Dennis was the oldest of three.

Mary Leann Alexander was born in Wilsonville, Nebraska to Wayne and Bernice (Ankenman) Kasson on December 20, 1943. A proud graduate of Wilsonville High School in May of 1962, her educational foundation set the stage for a life dedicated to family and community.

Edward Richard, of Bartley, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Tri Valley Health in Cambridge. He was 76 years of age.

Marilyn Ruth (Trail) Newcomb, 86, passed away December 7, 2025 at Oak View in Autumn Lake, Silver Springs, MD. She was born January 8, 1939 to Rollin A. and Elynnor M. (Hoyt) Trail in Greeley, Weld County, CO. In early childhood, the family homesteaded a farm in southwest McCook NE.

Gayle Lewis Kircher was born October 27, 1929 to Albert and Ola (Elms) Kircher on the family farm in rural Red Willow County, Nebraska. He lived a life characterized by dedication, hard work, and a deep connection to his faith and family.

Peggy Anne Poore, age 93 of McCook, Nebraska went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 08, 2025 surrounded by beloved family. Peggy was born on a farm north of Traer, KS, on May 23, 1932, to Emery and Louise Kelly. She married her college sweetheart and the love of her life, Dale Poore, on March 30, 1952. They spent 68 wonderful years together. To this union, two sons were born, David Scott and Daniel Dean.

Beau D. Robertson of Cozad passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha at the age of 45. Beau was born on June 12, 1980 in Lexington, Nebraska to Kent and Linda (Bennett) Robertson. He attended elementary school at District 29 south of Cozad and graduated from Cozad High School with the class of 1999.
