Marilyn Jean Kester, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 18 in Cambridge at 85 years. She was born in McCook on February 10, 1939, to Ralph and Jane (Richey) Beals. The family lived near Stockville until Marilyn was five years old, when they moved to a farm south of Cambridge. She began her education at Sunny Hillside Country School.

Clarence Richard “Dick” Pfeiffer, 84 years of age, of San Bruno, California, passed away, on February 24, 2024, at Christina’s Care Home in San Bruno. Dick was born in Oxford, on May 16, 1939, the eldest of three children, born to Clarence F. and Mildred A. (Lueking) Pfeiffer.

Lewis “Lewie” Ivan Palmer, age 88, of Mc-Cook, NE passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook. Lewie was born April 13, 1935, in Wilsonville, NE to parents Ivan and Nellie L.

Roselyn Marie (Wells) Junker was born July 9, 1929 at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA to Louis F and Jeannette (Longley) Wells and passed from this life March 9, 2024 at Phelps Memorial Health Center surrounded by her family. At 5 years of age, she was sent by train from Spokane to Stanley, ND to live on a farm with a great aunt and uncle.
