A memorial service for JoAnne Shoemaker was held Friday, December 9, 2022 at Glende-Nilson Funeral Chapel in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. With Reverend Ned Erdman officiating.

Larry Kubik, age 84 of Cambridge passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on December 28, 2022. He was born in Furnas County near Wilsonville, NE on February 19, 1938, to Francis and Irene (Witte) Kubik.

A Funeral Service for Paul E. Trenchard was held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Oxford, Nebraska with Pastor Brian Jenkins officiating. Interment followed at the Oxford Cemetery with military honors provided by the Oxford American Legion in conjunction with the Army National Guard Funeral Honors Team.

Barbara Ann Moser Votaw of Lincoln, Nebraska, age 82, passed away on December 23, 2022. Barbara, also known as Barb, was born September 20, 1940 to Martin William and Verna Lucille Moser. She was the youngest of four daughters. She spent her early years near Valley and Mead, Nebraska and graduated from Mead High School in 1958. She attended Luther College in Wahoo and toured the country with the choir.

Lewis “Lew” Shoff, 84 of Kearney passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Mt. Carmel Home in Kearney. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2022 at Kearney First United Methodist Church. Burial will take place at a later date in Wymore, NE.

Jack D Brown, age 66, of Cambridge, NE passed away at his home in Cambridge on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. With his kids and wife present.

Maxine L. McCoy age 94 of Cambridge passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on December 10,2022. She was born on September 11, 1928 to Elmer Cis (Ogorzolka) Stoddard north of Arapahoe, Nebraska. She attended school in Arapahoe and Cambridge. In March of 1946 she married Don Ohlson. On November 1985 she married Victor McCoy in Mesa, AZ.

William Herman Schutz, age 63 of Elwood, Nebraska, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 at his home while in the arms of his loving brother. Bill was born at Lexington, Nebraska to Marvin and Ruth (Braun) Schutz on February 25, 1959. He will be missed by all and his memories will always be cherished and loved. Cremation was chosen, private inurnment will be at a later date. Berryman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Eldon DeWayne Moore age 87 of Barley passed away at the Hillcrest Care Center in McCook on December 11, 2022. He was born on the family farm North of Cambridge in Frontier County on April 2, 1935, to Earl and Doris (Wight) Moore.
