SHELTON - The Arapahoe wrestling team scored 151 points and finished fourth at the Shelton Invite. Grayson Koller, Rafe Hill and Jacen Smith each finished runner-up for the Warriors, who had eight total medalists at the meet.

ALMA - With a dominant win over Holdrege Friday, the Southern Valley girls basketball team stretched its win streak to seven games and improved to 10-2 this season. The Arapahoe girls, with wins last week over Loomis and Hi-Line, have won three in-a-row to get to 6-7.

ELWOOD - The Arapahoe and Southwest girls basketball teams each traveled to Elwood for contests with the Hi-Line Bulls. Southwest rolled away with a 68-35 victory over HLine Tuesday, then Arapahoe used a 17-point fourth quarter surge to escape with a 42-36 victory on Friday.

Arapahoe bowlers compete at Lexington Invite

Follwing the holiday break, the Arapahoe bowling team returned to action in the Lexington tournament at the Big Apple in Kearney where the girls team took 2nd place. On the boys side of things, Lael has really started taking off as of late.

CAMBRIDGE - A 9-0 start was a foreshadowing of things to come as the Cambridge boys basketball team rolled to a 60-32 victory over visiting Southwest Friday. The Trojans earned their fifth win of the season and improved to 5-6 whiel Southwest fell to 3-6 on the season.

BARTLEY - After a frustrating contest the night before, the Southwest boys basketball team took it out on visiting Wauneta-Palisade Saturday as the Roughriders rolled to a 48-24 victory. Southwest jumped on the Broncos early, but had some trouble shaking completely free until the fourth quarter.

CAMBRIDGE - A hot start to the contests was enough to push the Cambridge girls basketball team past visiting Southwest Friday. The Trojans raced out to a 13-3 lead in the first quarter and, though the lead evaporated before halftime, it was enough to push the Trojans to a 42-36 victory.
