Artist, Janet Boccelli, from Taos, NM visited Local Roots Coffee Shop in Arapahoe on Thursday morning to demonstrate the art of making lattes and sign copies of her recently published, literal coffee table book-SoulfulShots. The Arapahoe layover co-incided with a long overdue visit with her sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Wayne Lammel. Wanting to treat the community to a unique form of art and support our local coffee shop, Sue enticed the first 30 customers with a free latte art and Local Roots home-made biscotti.

Artist, Janet Boccelli, brought her latte talent to Local Roots in Arapahoe with her Latte Art Pop-up. Several local residents enjoyed a free latte and biscotti (compliments of Wayne and Sue Lammel) on Thursday morning.

Cambridge TeamMates were 50 strong at the Tornado Alley in Arapahoe on Monday, April 17 for a fun night of pizza, bowling, recognizing our seniors, and listening to guest speaker Fayth Jackson. Fayth is a current TeamMates National Office staff member and a previous TeamMates mentee herself with an inspiring story to share about the impact mentors have had on her life. The chapter also recognized our 5 seniors this year, shown in the photo with their mentors. They are Brenna Johannsen, Macy Jones, Jackson Trompke, Jordan Ruf, and Adam Corbett. TRENTON - The Southwest girls scored 68 points and the Southwest boys scored 67 as each finished third at the Hitchcock County Invite last week. Anastasia Gallegos swept titles in the two hurdles events and the Roughriders finished first in both the 400 and 3,200 relays while also taking second in the 1,600 relay.

ARAPAHOE - the Cambridge girls grabbed the team title at the Arapahoe Jim Mather Invite, scoring 105 points to beat out runner- up Elm Creek. Southern Valley finished fourth, Arapahoe was seventh and Hi-Line took 10th.
