Wilsonville Garden Club meets once a month during growing season

Body
The Wilsonville Garden Club meets once a month during the growing/harvest season to share information, tips, plants and bulbs. It has been helpful and fun to “glean” fresh ideas about new methods and trends by visiting other successful gardeners and businesses. On June 13th, the group traveled to Orleans to do just that. They visited the beautiful, flourishing and bountiful greenhouse, gardens and farm belonging to Marlen and Beverly Lewis. Mr. Lewis stays busy most of the year with varying aspects of seed-to-harvest organic growing and ground care. Mrs. Lewis works alongside Marlen as they proudly help supply organic vegetables to the Farmer’s Market in Norton, Kansas on Thursday mornings each week.
