Raiders down Maxwell, Brady

Body The Medicine Valley boys basketball team got a good look at the upcoming post season with wins over D2-8 sub-district opponents Maxwell and Brady last week. The Raiders are still in the driver’s seat of the sub-district with one game remaining on their regular season schedule.

Med Valley drops finals two

Body The Medicine Valley girls basketball team ended its regular season with back-toback losses to Maxwell and Brady last week. The Raiders had a strong night rebounding last Thursday at Maxwell.

Warriors split at Bertrand

Body The Arapahoe hoops teams split contest at Bertrand Friday with the girls winning 44-29 to close out the regular season while the boys fell 70-43. The girls led throughout, though they struggled to shake the Vikings until late when they outscored Bertrand 27-18 after halftime.

Hi-Line boys, girls split with South Loup

Body The Hi-Line girls basketball team picked up its fourth win of the season while the boys’ upset bid of the Bobcats came up short at South Loup Friday. In the girls’ contest, Hi-Line rolled to a 46-27 victory over South Loup to take their fourth victory of the season.

Body BARTLEY - The Southwest boys basketball team found just enough offense to tip a pair of home games their way, defeating Axtell, 64-60, on Friday before taking down Wallace, 68-64, in a makeup game Monday afternoon.
