Hi-Line notches wins over conference foes

Body LOOMIS - During a busy weekend, the Hi-Line volleyball team captured a pair of wins in Phelps County, downing Bertrand in a triangular Thursday before beating Wallace at the Loomis Tournament on Saturday.
The Southern Valley volleyball team split a Thursday triangular with Southwest and Sutherland, downing the Sailors in straight-sets at home, 25-20 and 25-14. Tori Bose had 12 of the team’s 15 kills and Cali Santifer and Sophia Cunningham each had two ace serves. The Eafles had a tough trip to the Elm Creek Tournament Saturday, falling to Red Cloud and Pleasanton in straight-sets before Sutherland avenged Thursday’s match with a three-set victory.

Body CURTIS - The Medicine Valley volleyball team captured its first win of the season with a straight-sets victory over visiting Creek Valley Monday. The Raiders hit .265 in a 25-20, 25-8, 25-14 win that also included a season-high 25 ace serves.
