Unit 199 American Legion Auxiliary report on convention

Unit 199 of the American Legion Auxiliary met in regular session at the Community Building on April 10, 2025 with 8 members present. After Presentation of the Colors, Prayer and Preamble, Pres. Witte called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m. The minutes of the March meeting were read. Sue Witte made a motion to approve; Carol seconded; the motion passed.

The Southern Valley chapter was recognized as a Gold level chapter in the National Chapter Award application, which means they can submit the application for National recognition. They were recognized as a Model of Excellence chapter finalist and placed 1st in the Growing Leaders division.
