Initiated by Ryan Hardin, Community Hospital Physical Therapist, this engaging therapy equipment will primarily be utilized by the Community Hospital Rehabilitation Center’s physical therapy team, with potential applications in occupational therapy as well.

Nicholas High, of Bertrand, has had his case bound over to the District Court of Frontier County after he waived his preliminary hearing January 10. The charges had been amended and he now faces eight felony counts.

Friday afternoon at about 1:15 p.m., the Furnas County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a sanitation truck driver. The driver reported that he had found a male subject in the west ditch along Road 414 approximately a quarter mile south of Road 725 northwest of Holbrook, Nebraska. The driver of the sanitation truck reported that the male subject was clearly deceased.
