SWNPHD advise on RSV and Influenza vaccines

Body Respiratory virus season will be arriving soon. Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) and Influenza (flu) are common during the fall and winter months. Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department (SWNPHD) encourages residents to get their RSV vaccinations and flu shots now.

Nisley receives Make It With Wool service award

Body Andrea Nisley of Elwood recently received the 13th Annual Ted & Alice Doane Service Award for her work with the Make It With Wool (MIWW) Program at the recent Nebraska Sheep and Goat Producers Association conference and annual meeting.

The plaque was awarded at a recent NSGPA conference and annual meeting.
