Board hears of EMS need

Body
The Village of Oxford heard from Taylor Lueking about the need to order new AED monitors for the ambulances during their meeting on Monday, August 1. Lueking told the board they can no longer get pads for the devices they have as all of the pads, batteries are being discontinued to the United States. He said one new monitor is $38,000. Clerk Becky Calderone said there is not enough money in the EMS account to buy one right now. The merger with the Rural Fire District should also be complete by October 1 . Board Chairman Clint McQuiston said they need to be a part of the solution as they will end up making the payments on any loan.
