Cambridge TeamMates Cindy Borland, Lisa Dutt, and Chris Pritchard attended the 2022 TeamMates Annual Conference in Lincoln July 27-29, along with 300 other chapter representatives from 5 states. TeamMates founder Tom Osborne addressed the attendees and challenged us all to “Be There” for our mentees and reminded us that mentoring has a positive ripple effect throughout your community. Southern Valley - The Southern Valley School Board approved raising the pay scale for paras and subs once again during their regular meeting on Monday, August 8, 2022. Superintendent Bryce Jorgenson apologized to the board saying they did this not too long ago, but after interviewing and talking to some paras he feels they need to move the starting pay from $12 to $14.

The community came out before, during and after an appreciation fundraiser for Oxford Fire and Rescue on the evening of Saturday, August 6. There is not a final total, but the amount raised is around $15,000.
