10th Annual Steve Billeter Memorial 5K Fun Run

Body
On June 18th over 50 runners and walkers gathered for the 10th annual Steve Billeter Memorial 5K Fun Run on the morning of Saturday, June 18. “It has been a privilege for the FFA Alumni to coordinate this event” said Laura McInturf, FFA Alumni President. Proceeds from this event are given to the Billeter Family, who have graciously given the money to Southern Valley schools to benefit the students in many ways. Over the past 10 years this money has provided a blackboard for classrooms, weight room equipment, a social media TV in the elementary, a touch screen TV in the high school atrium, equipment and supplies for the new Nurses station, drip irrigation for the FFA field, and décor and lighting for the treehouse in the elementary library.
