Nebraska DOT releases transit state management plan for public comment

The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) is required to develop a plan that documents the state’s procedures for administering program funding received through the Federal Transit Administration. In collaboration with the University of Nebraska Omaha, NDOT is gathering comments and input from the public to assess the draft NDOT Transit State Management Plan. Local Boys Participate at All-Star Game

The 2022 All-Star Football Game was played at the Bearcat Stadium in Scottsbluff on Saturday, June 11. Area players who participated were: Cooper Ray, Carsen Reiners – Hi-Line; Tristian White, Levi Kerner, Gabe White – Arapahoe; Lane Lenz, Sebastian Kramer – Medicine Valley. The boys spent the week practicing for the game.

GOSPER COUNTY SENIOR CENTER

The Gosper County Senior Center is in full swing and has coffee drinkers in at 8:30, pool-players in the midmorning, exercise machines that are in motion, a puzzle on the table, domino game to get started after lunch and of course great noon dinners for you to enjoy with friendly neighbors. The staff will continue to make your visit here, either while participating in the activities or eating our noon meal, as positive and enjoyable as can be. Thanks for your support.

Cambridge Unit 199 Auxiliary keeps busy

Cambridge Unit 199 of the American Legion Auxiliary met in the Community Building at 2:05 p.m. with 11 members present. After Presentation of the Colors, Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance and Preamble, Pres. Witte called the meeting to order. The minutes of the May meeting were read. Charla made a motion to approve them. Jo seconded. The motion passed.
