Body $6400 was raised on Saturday, May 21 for the Beaver City Firefighters and First Responders in what was a community effort. Many businesses and individuals stepped up to contribute for the event held at the Community Building.

Body Southwest students raied more than $2,500 for local firefighters through a spare change drive at both the high school and elementary buildings. The funds were used to purchase and construct preparedness kits for fighfighter vehicles.
