The C. B. Preston Memorial Library in Orleans holds story time every Tuesday from 10 to 11 am. Story time is open to all pre-school age children. There are stories, games and crafts during the story hour.

Church on the Hill, Wilsonville NE, is hosting a 1 day conference entitled “Faith Journey” at the Wilsonville Community Center (former Methodist Church) on April 9, 2022, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. This nondenominational conference will feature 3 speakers and a time for prayer and worship. Speakers include Dr. Gary Waguespack, graduate of Gordon Connell Seminary and Covenant Seminary, St. Louis, MO. Dr. Waguespack, author of several books, is currently engaged in multiple Bible studies with the Church of the Highlands in Alabama. Pastor Peter Paul and Dr. Jasmine Paul, Lizella, GA, will be teaching, preaching and leading prayer. They currently pastor Rose of Sharon Church in Georgia. Pastor Peter is a graduate of Christ For The Nations, Dallas, TX and Southwestern Assembly of God College, Waxahachie, TX. Dr. Paul received her doctorate from the University of Walden and in addition to ministry is currently an Associate Professor of Biology at Fort Valley State University. Worship leaders for the Conference are Pastor Curt and Debbie Pfeil, Alma, NE. There is no charge for the conference and pizza will be served for lunch. Early Monday morning at approximately 5:10 a.m., the Red Willow County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a two-vehicle accident 2.5 miles west of Cambridge along Highway 6/34 between MM 108 and MM 109. The Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska State Patrol, Bartley Volunteer Fire and Rescue and Cambridge Fire and Rescue responded.

The administrator for the Nebraska Ethanol Board, Reid Wagner, says that ethanol plays a vital role in our national energy independence and security. “Farmers have a chance now to show that home grown solutions are effective.”
