Wild Time at Oxford Library

It was a wild scene full of almost any animal one could think of at the Oxford Public Library on Saturday, January 22. Stuffed animals that is, when Teddy Bear Mobile came to town. Teddy Bear Mobile creates stuffed animals on site that include a charm, birth certificate and bag. There is also a selection of clothing for them.

The Cambridge Knights of Columbus held their annual free throw shoot on January 16 with 13 shooters participating. Winners advanced to the district competition in February. Unit 199 of the American Legion Auxiliary met in regular session in the Community Building at 2:10 p.m. with 7 members present. After Presentation of the Colors, Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance and Preamble President Witte called the meeting to order. The minutes of the December meeting were read and approved. The president announced that Jo Lewis will officially take over as Treasurer. Jo presented the treasurer’s report. Mary Lou made a motion to approve the report; Yvonna seconded it. The motion passed.
