Southern Valley Senior

Southern Valley Senior Brianna Russell was selected to take part in the Wayne State Honor Band clinic and concert last Saturday, January 29. The Festival of Honor Bands is the last Saturday of January and has honor bands for junior high and high school students. Students come from Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. There is a full day of rehearsals followed by a concert. Those wishing to take part auditioned in November, 2021.

Four SV art students earn Scholastic Awards

The Nebraska Scholastic Art Awards is a state wide competition where all students compete to be selected into the juried exhibit in Omaha. Entries are not separated based on the size/class of the school, so selected SV students earned their placing along with others from all across the state! Congratulations to the following art students representing Southern Valley this year:

Tri Valley Health System redesignated as a Basic Level Trauma Center

Tri Valley Health System is pleased to announce that the hospital was re-designated as a Basic Level Trauma Center by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. Tri Valley Health System completed a survey in November and is fulfilling the current standards related to the Basic Level Trauma Designation.
