10 years ago The Southwest Girls Track Team is all smiles as they show off the Runner-up trophy they won at the RPAC Contest last Friday at Arapahoe. 20 years ago Will Vrooman and Kari Brooks were crowned King and Queen for 2001 of the Republican Valley Junior Senior Prom Saturday evening, April 28.

Students enjoyed FFA Week at Arapahoe with petting zoo and tractor rides

On April 28th, Arapahoe FFA set up a petting zoo as a part of FFA week. Students participated in tractor rides, a petting zoo, and a coloring station. Members brought in pigs, goats, sheep, bottle calves, hens, ducks, and even ferrets. (Bottom right) Creighton Warner had so much fun riding in the tractor with Nolan Meyers. The Arapahoe FCCLA Chapter installation was held on Tuesday, April 27th. All 2020-2021 members were congratulated and recognized. Senior, Elizabeth Bell was given a special thank you for her 4 years of leadership and service to the Arapahoe Chapter and the Arapahoe student body and community. Additionally, new 2021-2022 members and officers were installed into the Chapter. Pot luck was Monday with hostess Ilene Collins, 10 residents and 1 guest Diane McCoy. The minutes were read by Sherry Saylor and the program was all about May Day, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day and Spring. May birthdays are Greg Cookson, Cindy Haussler, Trina Hector, Bobby Upson, Della Mae Von-Loh, Harold Low and Delores Fisher.
