The First United Methodist Church is hosting the ‘Arapahoe Day of Prayer’ on Friday, March 5th at 10:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Wearing masks are optional. Fellowship to follow program.

It is 20 degrees below 0 this morning and everyone at Sunshine Village is snowed in. The sun is shining and we are thankful for our wonderful place that is warm and friendly on this President’s day. All the residents appreciate Trina, who keeps the walks safe and everyone looks forward to warmer weather.

Good Samaritan Society, Arapahoe Activities Director Star Corbin handed out flowers to the women residents and candy to the men for their Valentines Day party. Here are some of the photos taken that show residents receiving their gift. They had a special meal, music to set the mood and they all had a great time. Star also handed out Valentine cookies to each resident.

The Gosper County Senior Center is open for inhouse meals. Oh it seems like a long time since we’ve been open! Good to have you back. As long as our Gosper County numbers stay down we can remain open. The Gosper County Senior Center will continue to serve meals for delivery or pick-up. We are following the guidelines that WCNAAA has suggested for our Center. If you would like to have a meal to pick up or have a meal delivered please call the Senior Center at 785-2500.
