Cambridge School Board met in regular session on Monday, March 14, 2022. Board Member Sally Farquhar was absent from the meeting.

BEAVER CITY - During its regular meeting last week, the Furnas County Commissioners considered the upcoming vacancy when current County Attorney Morgan Farquhar departs for his new job as a district court judge.

March 1 was the deadline to file for most elected offices in Nebraska, marking the official beginning of the 2022 election cycle that will run until the last ballot is certified following the November 8 general election.

The Cambridge Rotary Club is asking for financial support from community members and businesses. The club is working on a 24 x 24 x 10 shade/shelter project to be built in the Downtown Park between Pinpoint and The Bowling Alley. This shade/ shelter will go over the newly redone picnic tables in this area. The club has great hopes this will help attract people and groups to come and enjoy the park for personal and business events.
