Body BARTLEY - In a final tuneup for this week’s district tournament, the six area boys wrestling teams each competed at the Southwest Invite Friday. Southern Valley finished third while Cambridge was fifth, Hi-Line was ninth and Arapahoe was 14th.

Body CAMBRIDGE - With wins last week over Hi-Line and North Platte St. Pat’s and a Tuesday upset over Arapahoe, the Cambridge girls basketball team has won nine of its last 11 games and moved a seasonhigh three games over .500.

Body The Southern Valley basketball teams took on Alma and South Loup over the weekend. The girls’ offense scuffled in a 40-33 defeat to Alma Friday, but the Eagles bounced back in a dominant 45-17 win over South Loup on Saturday to pick up their 16th win of the season.
