Wolves roll past Trojans for ninth win of the season

HAYES CENTER - The Maywood-Hayes Center girls basketball team continued its recent streak of dominance, rolling past Cambridge 59-14 on Friday. After an upset loss to the Trojans coming out of the holiday break a year ago, MHC Coach Kim Stengel said the team was focused on not letting that happen again.

Two medals for Warriors at Pleasanton Invite

PLEASANTON - The Arapahoe wrestling team returned from break by competing at 24-team Pleasanton invite Saturday. The Warriors scored 51.5 points to tie for 14th place at the meet, earning two medals.

Hi-Line boys, girls fall to Raiders

EUSTIS - The Hi-Line girls basketball team had its two-game win streak snapped and the boys also fell to visiting Lawrence-Nelson Saturday. The girls put togather a strong first half and led 28-16 at the break, but managed just 13 points in the second half as the Raiders came roaring back for a 49-41 win.

PAXTON - In the first night of a holiday triangular, the Maywood-Hayes Center boys and girls basketball teams both emerged victorious over hosting Paxton Saturday. The girls ended a hardfought victory with an exclamation point, blowing Paxton away in the fourth quarter of a 56-31 victory, their seventh of the season.
