Gary D. Bradney, 72, of Kearney passed away on September 06, 2025 at CHI Health in Kearney. Gary was born on October 30, 1952 in Yuma, CO to parents Ronald Dean and Mary (Ebbers) Bradney. The family lived in Yuma and Otis and Akron, Colorado areas until settling in Sterling, CO where Gary graduated with the class of 1970. Following high school Gary enlisted in National Guard which he served for six years attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant E-6.

A Funeral Service for Katherine “Kathy” Chamberlain will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Oxford, Nebraska, with Pastor Wes Holen and Pastor Kirk Einspahr officiating.

Mary Cecilia (Rayer) Hayes, age 87, passed away in McCook Ne at Kinship Pointe Assisted Living, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 surrounded by family. Mary was born January 13, 1938 to Maurice Rayer & Elsie (Colling) Rayer at McCook, Nebraska.

Delroy L. Hemsath, 79 of Kearney passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE. Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2025 at the Kearney First United Methodist Church with pastor Jo Ellen Axthelm officiating. Interment followed at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery with military honors provided by the Nebraska National Guard Funeral Honors Team in Conjunction with the North Platte Funeral Honors Team.

Richard “Dick” Fugate, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 9, 2025. Born on July 22, 1942, in North Platte, Nebraska, Dick proudly served in the Air Force as a munitions technician in Libya during the Korean War. He began his career with the Bell System and worked in the telecommunications industry until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie Fugate; his mother, Ruby Fugate; and his sons, Brian Fugate and stepson Andy Butrick.

Roger Dale Babcock, age 81, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2023. Roger was born October 17th, 1942, to Dale and Evelyn Babcock in Sidney, Nebraska.
