OVERTON - Both the Hi-Line girls and boys track and field teams finished in eighth place at the Fort Kearny Conference Meet in Overton Thursday. The girls team scored 24 points and brought home numerous season and personal bests.
CAMBRIDGE - The Cambridge boys golf team was fifth and Southwest took seventh at th Southwest Invite in Cambridge Friday. Cool and windy conditions affected the play of almost everyone, save for Hitchcock County, which ran away with the team title with a score of 332.
ARAPAHOE - the Cambridge girls grabbed the team title at the Arapahoe Jim Mather Invite, scoring 105 points to beat out runner- up Elm Creek. Southern Valley finished fourth, Arapahoe was seventh and Hi-Line took 10th.
TRENTON - The Southwest girls scored 68 points and the Southwest boys scored 67 as each finished third at the Hitchcock County Invite last week. Anastasia Gallegos swept titles in the two hurdles events and the Roughriders finished first in both the 400 and 3,200 relays while also taking second in the 1,600 relay.
BERTRAND - The Southern Valley girls finsihed second and the Hi-Line boys were third at the Jerry Stine Invite in Bertrand Friday. The Eagles’ boys and Bulls’ girls were each eighth.
