Body HAYES CENTER - The Maywood-Hayes Center volleyball team split its opening triangular Thursday, rolling past Sandhills Valley, 25-12 and 25-19, before dropping a hard-fought match to Paxton, 25-22 and 25-23.

Body CAMBRIDGE - In a physical battle Friday, it was top-rated North Platte St. Pat’s that made the big plays and emeraged with a 35-0 victory at Cambridge Friday.

Body SOUTHERN VALLEY - The Southern Valley volleyball team rolled past Hi-Line on opening night, taking a 25-4, 25-12, 25-13 victory ovr the visiting Bulls. The Eagles dominated at the service line, serving 23 aces in the match, including 14 from Ann Bose.

Body EUSTIS - It wasn’t the best of starts for the Hi-Line offense in their season-opener against Pleasanton Friday night. But for whatever struggles the Bulls might have had gaining yards early, they still found ways to put up points.

Body The Maywood/Hayes Center football team got off to a slow start Thursday in Sutherland, but the Wolves claimed a win in the first game of the season 26-22.

Body CURTIS - Last Thursday’s meet at Medicine Valley marked the beginning of the 2023 Cross Country team for Hi-Line, Medicine Valley, and Southern Valley.
