LINCOLN - Perhaps the best season in over 20 years for Southwest volleyball ended Saturday with a fourth-place finish at the Class D1 State Volleyball Tournament. The Roughriders dropped their third-place game to Bruning-Davenport-Shickley Saturday afternoon, capping a 34-2 season that set a new school record for wins and reached 34-straight victories before ending with back-toback defeats.
