CAMBRIDGE - While Hitchcock County pushed both teams at times, Tuesday’s volleyball triangular in Cambridge centered around a main event between the Trojans and Southwest Roughriders. Both teams entered the night rated second in their class in NSAA power points and each was ranked in the top three of Class D1 and Class D2 in different statewide ratings.

ARAPAHOE - On Homecoming night, the Arapahoe football team delighted the crowd with an explosive start and rolled to a 54-8 victory over visiting Southern Valley. The Warriors popped off for three scores and a 24-0 lead after a quarter.

The Lady Trojans golf team had their district meet last Wednesday, October 4th, at Indianhead Golf Course in Grand Island. While personal records were set, the Lady Trojans did not have a state qualifier this year.
