BEAVER CITY - An Arapahoe woman was arraigned in Furnas County Court Tuesday morning on charges of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Child Abuse, Debauching a Minor and multiple counts of procuring alcohol and nicotine products to a minor.

Weather permitting, a mill and fill project will begin June 3 on U.S. Highway 136 (US-136), according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Mill and fill is a process of removing deteriorated asphalt in preparation of placing an asphaltic patch to improve the roadway surface and drivability.
