McKinley Park to be remodeled and all-inclusive

Body BEAVER CITY – The city council met for just under two hours for this final meeting for 2023. The council voted to reject all bids for the lagoon repair at this time because the expense is much higher than the original estimate.

Oxford Board discusses northwest Village Centre Building

Body The Village of Oxford Board of Trustees met on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 5:30 pm for a special meeting. The board held their reorganization, keeping all officers and appointments as they were. Mike Minarik will remain as Chairman with Chase Quinn as Vice Chair.
Tri Valley Health System Auxiliary Thrift Shop volunteers Pat Downer and Sharon Lightle presented four totes of new toys and games to Lions Club members for the annual Lions Christmas project. They also shared 50 ten dollar gift certificates to the Thrift Shop for the Lions to include in their gift baskets. Merry Christmas from the TVHS Auxiliary.

Body According to Beaver City Chamber of Commerce president Meredith Williams, this year’s Soup Supper and Gift Draw was a great success. The annual event was held on Wednesday, December 13 at the community center, with approximately 80 people in attendance.
