The North Platte Young Professionals are proud to announce the 2023 Finalist in the Big Idea North Platte business pitch contest: There was a 31% increase of submissions this year which shows the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and growing in North Platte.

Edison, Neb., September 18, 2023 - Ag Valley Co-op is pleased to donate to local FFA chapters as part of its cooperation with the Land O’Lakes Foundation and the CoBank Sharing Success Program. The applications submitted by FFA Chapters detailed how they planned to use the money to further the chapter’s goals.

The Arapahoe City Council discussed further the rural workforce housing grant money with Bobbi Pettit of 5 Rule during their meeting on Tuesday, September 19. She told the board the grant is actually a 25% match, not a 50% match as she had first thought.

On Sunday, October 1st, a Life Chain will be formed in Indianola along Highway 6 & 34 by the City Park from 2:00 until 3:00. Life Chain is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of pro-life individuals standing for 60 minutes, praying for our nation and for an end to abortion. It is a visual statement of solidarity by the Christian community that abortion kills children and that the sanctity of human life from the moment of conception until natural death is supported. Those of all faiths and of all ages are encouraged to stand with thousands of Prolife individuals throughout the USA and Canada.
