Trees planted in Farnam thanks to the ten Free trees Program

Body
Thanks to the Ten Free Trees program, an effort of the Nebraska Forest Service and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, the Village of Farnam received six trees. Two trees were planted at the park, one replacing a tree that was removed earlier this year and one which will help fill a gap in the canopy of the park. Another tree was planted at the RV park located on Highway 23 to help develop a picnic area. Three trees were planted on private property but will provide shade to streets and sidewalks in the Village.
