One year ago as of this writing. That was the beginning of our Road 702 Fire. What a horrible, terrifying, destructive, deadly time! And we were reminded a couple weeks ago that conditions are still ripe for a repeat. The fire South of Highway 89 between Lebanon and Danbury was quickly pounced on by your Beaver Valley Fire Department, along with mutual aid from all the area departments and farmers with discs. It was a large fire that could have become much bigger.
