During FFA week, Agriculture Literacy day was observed with Arapahoe FFA officers and multiple other FFA members going into the k-4 elementary class rooms to give a small activity relating to agriculture.

A sincere heartfelt thank you to all those who called, sent cards, food, memorials and came to our home with the passing of my husband John. Your kindness and caring will never be forgotten. It is wonderful to live in a small community with such great people surrounding you.

The family and friends of Don Woodruff thank all who helped with his final days. Special thanks to the Harlan County Hospital staff and the American Legion, Honor Guards and Ft. Riley for doing the flag ceremony. Last Wednesday and Thursday the area received the second Winter Snow Storm which left ranges from ten to thirteen inches of snow. The sixth grade basketball team were undefeated and played in the regular season games.

The Republican Valley Mustang boys split games with two excellent teams last week winning by five over Dundy County and losing by two to Hershey.
