Body Since my last writing, we’ve had summer, back to winter with temps at or near freezing, and back to summer. But the one constant remains, no moisture! Keep polishing those prayer bones.

Body Cambridge City Council met in regular session on Monday, April 17, 2023. All Council members were present for the meeting.

Body Clean-up Day in Oxford is scheduled for Saturday, April 29. Residents are asked to have items they want hauled away at their front curb by Saturday morning or a few days before.

Body Kamden Bose, a junior at Southern Valley High School, has been selected to represent Stamford at the Cornhusker Boys’ State to be held June 4–10, 2023, at the University of Nebraska main campus in Lincoln. Merlin Palmer American Legion Post #233 of Stamford is sponsoring Kamden.

Body In an effort to clean up the community, the Oxford Village Board has entered into a Nuisance Code Enforcement Agreement with West Central Nebraska Development District, Inc. (WCNDD).

Body The Cambridge City Council has approved moving forward with the Nuisance Abatement Program, administered through West Central Nebraska Development District, Inc., and residents are encouraged to clean up items in violation of the nuisance ordinance.
