by Steve Sturtevant Irene Brooks was born November 6, 1808 in Rockport, Massachusetts, daughter of Reuben and Mary Hadley Brooks. At the age of 24 she was united in marriage to Joseph L. Sturtevant. She was a devoted wife, sharing the moments of joy and contentment and the years of heartache and uncertainty with her husband and their children at her side. She was deeply interested in the welfare of her own soul. She read extensively and prayed fervently.

100 Years Ago September 4, 1922 Thursday afternoon an explosion occurred that shook the earth when the air compressor tank at Eliker Garage exploded. The tank shot 30 feet above the building, besides going through two floors.

Cambridge teammates kick off picnic was held august 22

Over 50 Cambridge TeamMates met for their annual Kick Off Picnic in the Park on August 22. They enjoyed good food, fun games, and had an opportunity to reconnect with their mentor/mentee and make plans for the upcoming school year.
