Oxford approves fire and EMS expenditures

The Village of Oxford Board of Trustees met on Monday, July 19 for a regular meeting. All were present as well as clerk Becky Calderone and Public Works Director Duane Hoffman. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Clint McQuiston.

One spot remains for Oxford Housing Rehab

The Village of Oxford has funds remaining for the owner-occupied housing rehabilitation program to rehabilitate 5 homes within the municipal limits of Oxford. Homeowners must live in the home, have $25,000 equity in the home, carry homeowner insurance and be income qualified. Applications will be received on a first-come, firstserved basis. The maximum allowable funding per home rehab is $25,000; given in the form of a forgivable loan. Items looked at are lead based paint, electrical, plumbing, windows, HVAC, and accessibility. Applications may be picked up at the Village Office at 326 Ogden Avenue, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Gross income for a family of 4 cannot be greater than $56,250.
