Red Willow County GOP (Republican Party) to meet August 26

The Red Willow County GOP (Republican Party) will meet, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Marlene’s Kitchen (38404 Road 719). Corky Krizek will be leading a Constitution Class beginning at 5:00 pm. Meet/Greet will begin at 6:30 pm followed by the business meeting at 7:00 pm.

Locally Grown Beef & Pork on the Lunch Menu at Area Schools

CAMBRIDGE – Many Southwest Nebraska communities are involved in ensuring that students enjoy locally grown beef and sometimes pork during the school year as part of the district’s lunch program. All programs have begun at the grassroots level, so they are all different.
Cambridge FFA students feed out their own yearling heifers to contribute to the school’s Beef in Schools Program.
