The American Legion is pleased to announce that Brandon Wilson and Kade Schaffert of Indianola were generously sponsored by Post 245 of Bartley, Post 344 of Indianola, and Post 313 of Lebanon and will join 300 other high school juniors from across Nebraska Participating in the American Legion Cornhusker Boys’ State Program, May 31-June 6, 2026, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln downtown campus. The annual citizenship program, sponsored by the Nebraska American Legion, is designed to provide youths with a better understanding of how city, county, and state governments operate.
