At the Wilcox-Hildreth Invite Friday, the Arapahoe boys placed 4th as a team with 76 points and Cambridge placed 8th with 62 points. In the 400-meter dash, Will Cacy of Arpahoe placed 1st with a time of 52.32 seconds and Jackson Trompke of Cambridge placed 5th with a time of 55.0.

ELWOOD - The Hi-Line track and field teams hosted a quad with Wallace, Medicine Valley and Cozad last week to begin their season. For the girls, Coach Caleb Wall said it was good to get started.

LINCOLN - The Shrine Bowl of Nebraska Board of Directors released the rosters for the 65th Nebraska Shrine Bowl Game and introduced the teams at their annual Player Press Conference at the Scottish Rite Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

In the Eagles’ first round contest at the Class C2 State Basketball Tournament, their defense struggled for stops and it led to an early exit as Guardian Angels Central Catholic pulled away in the second half for a 67-46 victory.
