Body IMPERIAL - With individual champion Tyler Ellis, the Southwest wrestling team scored 57 points and finished 11th despite only four wrestlers at the Chase County Invite.

Body ELM CREEK - With five individual medalists, the Hi-Line wrestling team scored 90 points and finished sixth of 15 teams at the Elm Creek Invite Friday. Parker Schutz was the lone finalist for the Bulls and took second while four others wrestled for third.

Body SHELTON - The Arapahoe wrestling team scored 151 points and finished fourth at the Shelton Invite. Grayson Koller, Rafe Hill and Jacen Smith each finished runner-up for the Warriors, who had eight total medalists at the meet.

Body ALMA - With a dominant win over Holdrege Friday, the Southern Valley girls basketball team stretched its win streak to seven games and improved to 10-2 this season. The Arapahoe girls, with wins last week over Loomis and Hi-Line, have won three in-a-row to get to 6-7.

Body ELWOOD - The Arapahoe and Southwest girls basketball teams each traveled to Elwood for contests with the Hi-Line Bulls. Southwest rolled away with a 68-35 victory over HLine Tuesday, then Arapahoe used a 17-point fourth quarter surge to escape with a 42-36 victory on Friday.

Body ELWOOD - In a week of nailbiters for the Hi-Line boys basketball team, both Southwest and Arapahoe battled the Bulls to the wire with Hi-Line outlasting Southwest Tuesday while the Warriors held off a late charge from the Bulls Friday.

Body four assists while collecting a team-high six rebounds. Brynn Baily grabbed three steals and Adi Hunt, Tori Bose and Vanesa Aguayo each had two steals as Southern Valley forced 29 turnovers. Tori Bose and Brecklyn Hammond eachd ealt two assists.

Body Follwing the holiday break, the Arapahoe bowling team returned to action in the Lexington tournament at the Big Apple in Kearney where the girls team took 2nd place. On the boys side of things, Lael has really started taking off as of late.
